Polyethylene foam is a gas-filled elastic polymer material. It has a closed-porous structure, which provides high excellent shock-absorbing properties. Polyethylene foam is used as a thermal insulator, noise insulation, packaging material for the needs of industry, housing and communal services, as well as in the home.

Cross-linked PPE is denser and stronger than non-cross-linked PPE. It also has a longer service life, resistance to moisture and high soundproofing qualities. In its production, crosslinking is used - modification of the molecular structure of the raw material to obtain stronger intermolecular bonds.

Foamed polyethylene
Technology features
1. Composition preparation and film production
2. Appearance of cross-links between macromolecules
3. Foaming due to thermolysis of porophore

Gas escape from the irradiated (cross-linked) polymer is difficult. As a consequence, the foamed material has improved characteristics
